Week 9 & 10 of daily fantasy basketball is officially in the books! Here are some random thoughts looking forward to Week 11:
Rajon Rondo, Jeff Green, Jared Sullinger & Co: Not too sure what to think of this roster. Finding consistency will be difficult with Brad Stevens and the taking Celtics. Seems like they’re all an experiment and all expendable.
Deron Williams, Joe Johnson, Brook Lopez & Co: Bunch of old folks.
Carmelo Anthony, Jose Calderon, Amare Stoudemire & Co: Well… Melo is almost looking like he’s going to be shut down the rest of the year and Amare is constantly resting. Oh, JR Smith and Iman Shumpert got traded. Awesome.
Michael Carter-Williams & Co: For daily fantasy basketball purposes, avoid at all costs.
Kyle Lowry, Demar Derozan, Jonas Valanciunas & Co: Kyle Lowry is probably the only consistent player on this team. Everyone else is up in the air.
Rajon Rondo, Dirk Nowiztki, Monta Ellis, Tyson Chandler & Co: Way too many options on this roster. Anyone can be option 1 on any given evening.
James Harden, Trevor Ariza, Dwight Howard & Co: Josh Smith is the most inefficient player in the NBA. James Harden on the other hand is beginning to slow down with D12 & company healthier.
Marc Gasol, Zach Randolph, Mike Conley & Co: No ZBo, no problem. Marc Gasol and Mike Conley will carry the load.
Anthony Davis, Tyreke Evans, Jrue Holiday & Co: Anthony Davis has hit a wall.
Tony Parker, Tim Duncan, Kawhi Leonard & Co: When the “Big 3” rests, keep tabs on everyone on that roster. They are all cheap risky players, but high reward players.
Derrick Rose, Jimmy Butler, Pau Gasol & Co: Jimmy Ballin’ is having the best season of his career. It’s also contract year, he’s deserves every penny coming to him. Pau has got some fuel in the tank. Don’t sleep on him on any given night.
Lebron James, Kyrie Iriving, Kevin Love & Co: The King is out for a bit and Kyrie is injury prone. Love is going to look like the player he once was playing for Minnesota.
Brandon Jennings, Josh Smith Greg Monroe, Andre Drummond & Co: This team is clearly much better without Josh Smith after winning five straight. There strategy is comprised of Andre Drummond and all shooters.
David West, Roy Hibbert & Co: For daily fantasy basketball, avoid these folks if you know what’s good for you.
Jabari Parker Greek Freak, Brandon Knight, & Co: Who knows what JKidd will run on any given night. Always given Zaza and Henson a look while Ilyasova and Sanders are out.
Ty Lawson, Wilson Chandler, Kenneth Faried, Timothy Mozgov & Co: The manimal has awoken, but can be put back in the cage very quickly while Darrell Arthur, J.J Hickson, Timofy Mozgov and Jusuf Turkic are all healthy.
Mo Williams, Andrew Wiggins, Thaddeus Young & Co: This team is terrible and Andrew Wiggins plays during scrub time. Good for his development, I guess.
Russell Westbrook, Kevin Durant, Serge Ibaka & Co: Welcome back from your injury plagued season KD.
Damian Lillard, Nicolas Batum, Lamarcus Aldridge & Co: Dame is quite the special player.
Trey Burke, Gordon Hayward, Derrick Favors & Co: With Alec Burks out for the season, it looks like Trey Burke will get all the minutes he can handle. He’s definitely starting to come alive.
Jeff Teague, Paul Millsap, Al Horford & Co: One of my favorite teams to watch this season. They have been BALLIN’.
Kemba Walker, Lance Stephenson, Al Jefferson & Co: With Big Al out and Lance Stephenson still out, Kemba looks to do everything in his power to keep this team afloat.
Mario Chalmers, Dwayne Wade, Chris Bosh & Co: Wade is almost looking like his old self.
Victor Oladipo, Tobias Harris, Nikola Vucevic & Co: This roster is full of question marks. One night it could be Dipo, Tobias or Vucevic. Who the heck knows. Elfrid needs a haircut, seriously.
John Wall, Bradley Beal, Marcin Gortat & Co: For daily fantasy basketball, John Wall is way too overvalued/expensive. You’re a fool if you play him with other quality point guards named Russell Westbrook, Stephen Curry, Chris Paul, etc.
Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, Andrew Bogut & Co: Stephen Curry should be named MVP this season. Draymond is looking like a max caliber player. I wonder if GSW will be able to retain him. For daily fantasy basketball, Curry and DrayDray are your guys.
Chris Paul, Blake Griffin, Deandre Jordan & Co: CP3 is an overrated PG and he is far too expensive for daily fantasy basketball.
Kobe Bryant & Co: Mamba is listening to his body and taking a break here and there. Good for you Mamba.
Goran Dragic, Eric Bledsoe, Isaiah Thomas, Gerald Green & Co: One of the fastest pace teams in the NBA. They are definitely a run and gun type of team.
Darren Collison, Rudy Gay, Demarcus Cousins & Co: Since the departure of Mike Malone, defense has gone down considerably.
