Daily Fantasy Basketball Random Thoughts (Week 8)

Week 7 of daily fantasy basketball is officially in the books!  Here are some random thoughts looking forward to Week 8:

Rajon Rondo, Jeff Green, Jared Sullinger & Co:  I just don’t know who to play anymore on this roster.  Tyler Zeller, you the real MVP. Thank you for consistency.

Deron Williams, Joe Johnson, Brook Lopez & Co: Chumps, a roster full of chumps. Apparently, the whole roster is on the trading block. Highest paid salary in the league and arguably one of the worst teams among the league. Mr. Lopez is hurt… again.

Carmelo Anthony, Jose Calderon, Amare Stoudemire & Co: No Chumpert or J.R. Swish… TimmyJ will be your hero. He’s nothing more than a mini Melo. CHUCKER!

Michael Carter-Williams & Co:  I’ve never even heard of Robert Covington until this week. I can’t trust anyone on this roster and you can blame Brett Brown for that.

Kyle Lowry, Demar Derozan, Jonas Valanciunas & Co: For daily fantasy basketball purposes, Kyle Lowry is your man. Probably the most consistent player on this roster.

Dirk Nowiztki, Monta Ellis, Tyson Chandler & Co: Keep tabs on when Dirk Nowitzki rests. Aminu is a nice sneaky cheap play when he’s out.

James Harden, Trevor Ariza, Dwight Howard & Co: Forget what I said about Anthony Davis being the best daily fantasy basketball player. JHard, you the real MVP. Fear the Beard, at all times.

Marc Gasol, Zach Randolph, Mike Conley & Co: Zbo used to be a consistent double-double machine… He has been quite inconsistent for my taste. Also, avoid playing the Grizz… their pace is way too slow.

Anthony Davis, Tyreke Evans, Jrue Holiday & Co: Anthony Davis aka Big Softy. Please man up. Reke and Holiday are doing wonders without their star big man.

Tony Parker, Tim Duncan, Kawhi Leonard & Co: When the “Big 3” rests, keep tabs on everyone on that roster. They are all cheap risky players, but high reward players.

Derrick Rose, Jimmy Butler, Pau Gasol & Co: Injuries… more injuries. This time it’s Joakim Noah. Taj and Pau have done wonders for the Chicago front court. Oh and DRose has gone 10 straight game without getting hurt. It’s a MIRACLE!

Lebron James, Kyrie Iriving, Kevin Love & Co: #WITNESS

Brandon Jennings, Josh Smith, Andre Drummond & Co: I don’t understand how this team is this bad.

David West, Roy Hibbert & Co: Indiana making moves for Lance Stephenson? Hmmmm. I wonder what he’s worth.

Jabari Parker, Brandon Knight, Larry Sanders & Co: I have to admit… As much as I hate Jason Kidd’s rotations for daily fantasy basketball. He is doing one heck of a job with this team. Job well done, JKidd.

Ty Lawson, Wilson Chandler, Kenneth Faried, Timothy Mozgov & Co: Kenneth Faried, let the manimal out the cage! #FREEMANIMAL

Mo Williams, Andrew Wiggins, Thaddeus Young & Co: I have no idea where to begin with this roster.

Russell Westbrook, Reggie Jackson, Serge Ibaka & Co: Russell Westbrook is a MACHINE. I’m starting to think he’s virtually impossible to stop.

Damian Lillard, Nicolas Batum, Lamarcus Aldridge & Co: There are just so many options on this roster. We caught LMA on the worst night of the season and I must say… it hurt.

Trey Burke, Gordon Hayward, Derrick Favors & Co: Gobert is going to be a very good player in this league, if he gets more playing time.

Jeff Teague, Paul Millsap, Al Horford & Co: Sap is the closest thing to consistency on this roster. Everyone else is question mark.

Kemba Walker, Lance Stephenson, Al Jefferson & Co: Chumpcats.

Mario Chalmers, Dwayne Wade, Chris Bosh & Co: No Bosh for a while… This probably means they’re going to need a ton of production from DWade. There’s a hidden daily fantasy basketball gem on that roster and I think his name is Luol Deng. No Bosh, no problem.

Victor Oladipo, Tobias Harris, Nikola Vucevic & Co: Oladipo is heating up and Vucevic has seen his usage rate skyrocket this season.

John Wall, Bradley Beal, Marcin Gortat & Co: If only John Wall had a decent jumper, he’d be the next Russell Westbrook.

Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, Andrew Bogut & Co: #UNDEFEATED

Chris Paul, Blake Griffin, Deandre Jordan & Co: DJ’s eyes are so close together.

Kobe Bryant & Co: Congrats Mamba! By far, the best player I have ever got a chance to witness.

Goran Dragic, Eric Bledsoe, Isaiah Thomas, Gerald Green & Co: Bledsoe is still  the only for sure player among this backcourt. For daily fantasy basketball, give IT and Green a good look while Dragic is out nursing his back.

Darren Collison, Rudy Gay, Demarcus Cousins & Co: This front office is cold blooded. How could you blame a coach for having a losing roster without the arguable best big man in the league? It has been real coach Malone…
